Lauingen Camp for Latvians
The Ludwig Dillingen Camps were set up for Lithuanians, Latvians, and Estonians. The camps were administrated by the UNRRA Team 308.
The camps were located near Munich. Only two denominations are known for Latvians, one for Estonians and six denominations are known for Lithuania 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 units. In addition there are two types of notes one for men and one for women. The men’s notes are printed on white paper and the women’s on lilac paper. The face of the notes are in English and the back in the language of the nationality of the DP.
