Flossenburg

The Flossenburg Concentration Camp was opened in Bavaria in May 1938.

Men and Women prisoners worked in a quarry and industrial plants scattered over 60 subcamps some of which like Holleischen were located in Czechoslovakia.  Two types of notes were issued, type one has the serial number on top with a line of text below that reads Konzentrationslager Flossenburg.  Type two  has Pramienschein uber RM on the first line.  There are .50 and 1 RM denominations.  The camp was liberated in April 1945
