Allied Internee Camp Terni
Terni was one of several internment camps set up after the Italian armistice of September 8, 1943. Terni camp was located just north of Rome.
Very little is known about the camp. It is reported that 9 denominations were issued 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, and 1000 lire. However I have only seen a 1, 2, and 5 lire. A second type of 2 lire has been located. Further information is needed
