Campo Concentramento Per Internati Civili Monigo (Treviso)
Monigo camp opened on July 1, 1942 and held primarily Slovenes and Croats.
While the camp was active during 1942-1943 it is estimated that it held up to 10,000 internees. Under Italian administration the camp continually went downhill with starvation and disease becoming more rampant. Notes were issued in denominations of 0.50, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 lire.
