Terni Internment Camp
Terni located just North of Rome was a camp operated by the Allies to hold Italians suspected to having ties to the Fascist Government.
One such interne was Donna Mussolini wife of Benito. Terni was one of two such camps, the other being Arquata-Scrivia. Little is known about the camp, however scrip was printed in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, and 1000 lire.
