British Celluloid Disc Tokens

Prior to the War Department (WD) general paper issues there was an issue of celluloid tokens used not only by POWs but also by refugees in internment camps.

They were first issued in 1941 and were used until 1943 when replaced by the general paper issue. Denominations listed are 1/2, 1, and 6 Pence.  However the 6 Pence has never been seen.
