Camp 133 was located in Novara and held British and Australian POWs. After the Italian surrender many of the POWs escaped and were helped by locals until they finally joined up with the partisans. Later they were hunted by the Germans with some being killed and many escaping to Switzerland. Denominations issued were 5, 10, 20, and 50 centesimi and 1, 3, 5, and 10 lire.
