Campo Concentramento P.G. 29

Camp 29 was located in Viano and held British POWs from June 1942 until September 1943.

After the Italians surrendered the guards left the camp and many of the POWs escaped many of which were recapture, some hiding or joining the partisans with a few escaping to Switzerland.  Little is known about scrip from the camp other than a 5 and 25 lire exist.
