Campo Concentramento P.G. 5

Italian POW camp 5 was located in Gavi-Serrevalle 20 miles North of Genova.

The camp held British and South African POWs captured in North Africa. After the surrender of Italy the Germans took over operation of the camp. Denominations of 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 50, and 100 lire were produced.
