Campo Concentramento P.G. 91

Camp 91 was located in Avezzano and was originally built in 1916 for use during WWI. It was reopened in WWII to house British, Indian, and New Zealand POWs.

There are two types of notes supposedly used. Type 1 is genuine and type 2 are fantasy issues. Type 1 was issued in denominations of 50 centesimi, 1, 2, 5, 10, 50, and 100 lire. Type 2 fantasies are 0.5, 1, 2, and 5 lire.
