Feldpost 44728 along with FP 32117 and FP 01715 held 1722 Polish POWs.

The 41st battalion was located on the Western coast of Norway from Spring 1942 and in Autumn 1944 was moved to the county of Nordland to build the railway in Saltdal, only a few of these are known, with two known denominations 1 Ore and 1 Kronen
