Großbeeren

Großbeeren is a municipality in the German state of Brandenburg. In September 1942 the Gestapo established a labor camp here and during its operations nearly 1,200 forced laborers died.

In 10 barracks and an additional building for the workshop there were simultaneously 1000-1100 prisoners, forced laborers, prisoners of war and opponents of the regime waiting to be transported to concentration camps. The pictures are food ration coupons from the camp.
